UploadFit privacy policy
Legal developer / publisher: Sidhanshu Udawat
Privacy contact: Sidhanshu Udawat - udawat.sidhanshu@gmail.com
This policy explains how UploadFit, an image utility offered under the AppCrazy Labs studio brand, handles information when you use the app or contact support. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the developer of UploadFit. For privacy enquiries, contact udawat.sidhanshu@gmail.com.
UploadFit currently integrates AdMob and RevenueCat. It does not use a separate analytics or crash-reporting SDK. This does not mean that no data leaves the device: the advertising and purchase services described below have their own data processing.
1. Images, files and device access
UploadFit accesses the images you select to resize, crop, compress, convert, preview and save or share them. These operations take place locally on your device. We do not receive or store those images on our servers, and do not send them to AdMob or RevenueCat.
The app uses your device’s file selection and storage facilities to open images and save results. Where your operating system requires permission for this access, you control it through its permission prompts and settings. If you choose to share a result, the receiving app or service receives that image and its own privacy policy applies. Device or gallery backups are also governed by your device settings and backup provider.
2. Rewarded ads and Google AdMob
UploadFit offers rewarded ads through Google AdMob. Google’s Mobile Ads SDK collects and shares information such as IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, ad and app interactions, and diagnostic information. An IP address may be used to estimate a general location. Processing depends on SDK settings, device settings, consent and the ad served.
Google and its advertising partners use this information to deliver and measure advertising, prevent fraud and maintain their services. Where permitted and consented to, it can also support personalised advertising. Non-personalised ads can still involve data processing for delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Image contents are not part of this advertising data.
Read Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from apps that use its services.
3. Pro purchases and RevenueCat
UploadFit offers an optional one-time lifetime Pro purchase. Google Play processes the payment. RevenueCat helps validate purchases and manage access to Pro features, including restoration of eligible purchases.
RevenueCat processes purchase history, product and transaction identifiers, purchase tokens or receipts, purchase status and entitlement information. It uses an app user identifier, which can be generated without you creating an account. Technical context such as the app version, platform, locale and currency may accompany these requests.
This information supports purchase validation, entitlement management, support, fraud prevention and purchase reporting. RevenueCat does not receive your images. We and RevenueCat do not receive your full payment card details from Google Play. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy and Google’s Privacy Policy for their practices.
4. Support messages
If you email us, we receive your email address, the content of your message and any attachments you choose to send. We use this information to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy or purchase requests. Our email provider processes these messages to deliver and store them.
Please do not send sensitive images or payment card details. Sending an image voluntarily to support is separate from the app’s local image processing.
6. Your choices and privacy rights
You choose which images to open, what to save or share, and whether to make a Pro purchase. You can manage file permissions and advertising identifier settings through Android, with available controls depending on your device and version. Use any advertising consent or privacy controls presented in the app to express or update your preferences. Where consent is required, you may withdraw it. Contact us if you need help with these choices.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Email udawat.sidhanshu@gmail.com to exercise these rights. We may need limited information to verify the request and locate the relevant record. We cannot access images stored only on your device.
7. Retention and deletion
- Images and local app data: we retain no server copies of images processed in the app. Delete exported files using your gallery or file manager. Android’s clear-storage or uninstall controls remove app-managed local data; exported images and backups may remain until you delete them separately.
- Purchase records: purchase and entitlement records are retained as needed to provide and restore Pro access, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and meet applicable legal requirements. Uninstalling UploadFit does not automatically delete RevenueCat or Google Play records.
- Advertising data: Google and its partners retain advertising data under their own retention policies and the controls they provide.
- Support messages: we keep correspondence only for as long as needed to resolve the request and follow-up issues, or to meet legal obligations, after which it is deleted.
To request deletion of support messages or purchase records we manage through RevenueCat, email udawat.sidhanshu@gmail.com with the subject “UploadFit data deletion request”. We will explain any information needed to locate your record and any retention required by law. Deleting purchase records may affect our ability to recognise or restore Pro access; it does not itself issue a refund or erase Google Play’s transaction records. Continued use or a purchase restore may create a new RevenueCat record.
UploadFit has no user accounts, so there is no UploadFit account to close. View the data deletion instructions and submit a request →
8. Security and international processing
Keeping image processing on your device limits exposure of image contents. AdMob and RevenueCat use encrypted connections for data sent to their services. We limit access to support and purchase information to handling the purposes described in this policy. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.
Google, RevenueCat and our email provider may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Their privacy policies describe the safeguards used for international transfers. This does not change where UploadFit processes your images: image operations remain on your device.
9. Children’s privacy
UploadFit is a general-purpose image utility and is not specifically directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and arrange appropriate deletion.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy as UploadFit or its service providers change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or request consent for material changes.
