Chat Like Gen Z
Say it in your own words, with a little more range.
Sometimes you know what you mean but want a different way to say it. Chat Like Gen Z gives you three versions of your message, or helps you understand slang you have come across. You still decide what to send.
Two ways to find the words
- Encode
- Turn an ordinary message into three options: Chill, Dry and Hype. Pick the one that sounds like you.
- Decode
- Get a plain-language interpretation of unfamiliar slang, with an explanation of the terms.
- Make it yours
- Choose a writing style and, if you want, an age range, identity and pronouns to guide new encodes.
- Keep your balance
- Start as a guest with 10 conversions. Link Google if you want to recover a saved balance after changing devices.
AI can miss the point, especially with context and slang. Check the result before sharing it.
A simple conversion balance
A new guest wallet starts with 10 free conversions. A successful new encode or decode uses one conversion. All three encode tones are included; switching between them, copying or sharing an existing result does not use another one. Failed or cancelled requests return the reserved conversion.
The Android test build includes optional rewarded ads intended to add three conversions after server verification, and Google Play test purchases of 100, 200 or 300-conversion packs. Demo ads add no credits. These features are in internal testing, not a public offer or live sale.
What happens to your words
In the current Android wallet build, submitted text goes to our Firebase backend and Google Gemini for conversion. Encode also sends the writing preferences you selected. Generated results and request metadata are stored with your wallet’s conversion records for recovery and credit accounting; the app keeps a recent result on your device too. Avoid entering confidential information.
